Swimming & Snorkelling
The view from the Lodge balcony overlooks a sheltered white sand beach. Literally right on the doorstep, walk down to take a dip whenever the urge takes you.
On the norther side of the Island rock pools and soft coral and rock reef fringe the shoreline providing for easy access snorkeling.
Depuch Island, in the background has several sandy beaches including Beagle Beach named by Captain Wickham in HMS Beagle in 1837. Just inland of the beach freshwater can be found in Watering Valley where the Beagle replenished its water on several voyages to the North West coast.
