For the more challenge oriented guest, why not set out with a picnic lunch and the hand-held VHF radio and circumnavigate Depuch Island.

By keeping a close eye on tidal movement it is possible to go with the tide for the last hour of the outgoing current then use the incoming tide to assist on the trip back. If this all sounds like hard work an easy paddle around the shallows of East Moore Island taking in the Pelican rookery may be just the thing.
